Hi guys!!! I figured that I would add another clothing store for you guys since it’s been a few months since my last clothing store review. It seems like that one was a hit and drew lots of traffic to my blog so I am happy to share with you another place that perhaps is even more cute than Musu! The store name is called “Amazing.” I met the owner (?) and she is super nice and has such a great sense of taste. So without further ado, here is the photos and review…

Inside: The store itself is literally so cute and I really enjoyed the fact that it feels European! You all know my thoughts on Roman fashion (atrocious), but I am so glad there are still non corporate boutiques in the city center to support! I really felt refreshed when I walked into the store because the ceilings and the decorations were very unique. The lighting is just right! Not too bright and did not give me a headache at all. I will note that there are not places to sit if you are bringing your boyfriend, husband, male friends, or cousins. However, there is an Irish pub ten feet away as well as a cafe next door. The Irish pub is good if people want beer and snacks, but personally I would send my family to Caffe Doria (my review here: Caffè Doria!) It is around the corner from the store if your group wants something a bit more upscale.

Clothing: The clothes here are surprisingly affordable! However one thing to note is that not everything here is high quality. I would say it is a step up from quality you would find at Zara and H&M and a lot cuter. I haven’t purchased anything for myself yet, but you can see in the photo above that we found a pretty tulle pale pink skirt for my friend’s birthday!!! I am super excited to come back however because they had an amazing selections of outerwear and I absolutely have to come back for a pair of jeans and button up shirts (they are embroidered)!
Service: The sales associate helped us and followed us around immediately when we walked in. It was definitely fun and they were relatively helpful! I will note that it may feel weird if you are not Italian or haven’t lived in Italy, but don’t worry! They follow you around not because they are watching you or afraid you are going to steal something, but actually a normal service to help the customer: set up clothes in the dressing room, find sizes, etc. If you don’t speak Italian, no worries! The associates speak English, but I would not expect it to be the same as Rinascente or clothing stores around Spagna.

Gift Wrapping: I am sad they don’t offer gift wrapping or nicer bags here. The clothes we got for my friend came in a plastic branded bag, but I really think that it would elevate the store if they offered gift wrapping with tissue paper in a nicer bag or even gift boxes. I think we were given a gift receipt though, so you can request it. We also confirmed that our friend could come and exchange her items within 15 days of purchase if she did not like what we chose or needed a different size. She needed up exchanging everything the next two or three days and was very satisfied with her choices!
Payment and Pricing: Payment is relatively easy and straightforward. They accept cash and I think card. However I did not confirm if they accept American Express! So I would say have your visa in case if you end up going here before I can update you all about the accepted forms of payment. As for pricing, remember what I told you from last time: the prices will be marked “sale” etc., but that is just the common practice here in Rome to make you feel like you are getting a deal. Those are just regular prices hahahaha. In any case, the prices here are not bad at all. We bought my friend a knit jacket, a pretty button up embroidered shirt, and a two piece tulle maxi dress for 101 euros! All prices will be marked clearly on the tags so you won’t be surprised at checkout. Happy shopping!
